9 Superheroes and Villains With Major Bank

January 5, 2017 - Fiction

They say with great power comes great responsibility, and this has always been the case with superheroes. More often than not, those who feel that they need to protect justice and save the innocent have also been blessed with great wealth and stature like the Marvel superheroes and villains. Take everyone’s favourite billionaire, Bruce Wayne. He’s an orphan under the care of the butler, Alfred, but he has been left with billions by his parents.

When his parents were killed, he vowed to find their killers and keep Gotham City safe from villains and all sorts of characters roaming it. The same goes with Starling City’s Oliver Queen, also known as The Green Arrow. He isn’t an orphan but he has used his money for the greater good.

However, it is interesting to note that villains are also billionaires. One of the most famous is Lex Luthor, who is of course, the arch enemy of Superman. He has billions at his disposal yet he chooses to use it for evil. He will stop at nothing until he finds a way to defeat the Man of Steel.

In the X-Men, Professor X is also a very wealthy man. His former best friend, Eric, becomes Magneto and uses his powers and his money for evil. He sows terror among humans by unleashing evil mutants their way.

If you want to know who else in the Marvel and DC universes are teeming with money, you should read our infographic to find out. You will be surprised to find out that a lot of the famous villains and superheroes have a lot of money in the bank.

Fiction always wants some larger than life feel and what more than money can attain that. After reading the post I feel the need to teach children money is not everything.

Love the infographic. Netflix has a new series premiering in March about another Marvel super hero with bank, Iron Fist.
